Founder
Jonathan Luis
Jonathan brings over a decade of experience working with nonprofits, start-ups and small businesses to the table. In his work with the nonprofit sector, he specifically supported child-serving nonprofits by leveraging major gifts for programs and capital campaigns. Through this work, he has formed collaborations with child-serving nonprofits and community organizations throughout the United States and Latin America.
He continues to advocate for communities by helping bring resources to marginalized individuals globally. In his work, he worked alongside municipal, nonprofit and for-profit partners to identify strategic ways to collaborate and form partnerships with foundation, corporate and public funding agencies. He has also worked closely with city and county school districts, parks and public works departments in the United States to provide fundraising, grant management and program design support to help bring millions of dollars to multi-year initiatives.
Through his work in nonprofit strategic planning and fundraising experience, he is able to creatively find solutions. Jonathan holds a Master's in Business Administration in Nonprofit Management from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Queens University. He currently serves on the Board of Play:ground NYC a New York City based placemaking nonprofit organization and Despierta CLT a nonprofit supporting undocumented women and children in Charlotte.
